Sanctuary is a safe, secure place of rest and recovery, a place of shared respect for the conflict a person is in and the potential for change and transformation. It is a place where giving is intentional and cathartic and makes possible the question, " What if?"
Sanctuary is a place of divination where the seeds of possibility are seen. it is a place of help and a place to assess the help that is needed.
Sanctuary is a place where the inner dream is nourished and the inner voice of the call can be heard. It is a place of protection against the constant intrusion of violence and abandonment - a place of peace.
Sanctuary is a place of communication - inner and outer- where the deepest exchange is love. It is a friendship, relationship - a home.
Sanctuary is a place of risk, of dynamic tension - between the past and the future, between fate and destiny - where one can search for the right. It is a place to know one another in the light of change and where one can face the consequences of one's life.
Sanctuary is a place outside time, where there is always time for what is needed, a place of practical, continuous support. It is the authentic ground where every individual is welcome, touched and cared for.
It is a place of beginning, of faith, healing, forgiveness, imagination, and intention. it is a place of memory of what lives beyond the temporal.
It is a place where aspiration and purpose meet. It is a source of the waters of life, a place of reconciliation and resolve, a place of the Word, of the vital exchange of ideas.
Sanctuary is a place of meeting, of mentoring, a place of welcome. ~ Orland Bishop
Inspired by the word Komorebi, a poetic, evocative word that is truly delightful in it’s ability to express an emotion that resonates with us deeply. It is the Japanese expression for the sunlight that filters through leaves of trees. Komorebi evokes the image of a dance between the light and the leaves. It reflects a respect for nature and attention to the changing of the seasons, similar to our personal cycles.

What an incredible adventure One Love Float this has been! Almost 10 years as the container for wild self exploration including just over 10,000 hosted floats, 10 incredible days in the dark and humbly over 10,000 personal minutes in the float tank.
One Love was the ethos of how we are consistently invited to show up unconditionally for ourselves and as a collective community to love deeper, to connect more meaningfully, to undeniably know we are all interconnected and to be courageous in our asks to ourselves, knowing it has ripples and brave enough to say yes!
From juicy studio engagement proposals to honorable conscious uncoupling sessions together in the float tank. From seekers exploring their inner-verse, curiosity to what may be shown on the other side of the tank door being impermanence, vulnerability, trust, surrender, the pathway to the heart, soul mirrors into places we have never traveled or simple kindness in being a recipient of our culture of float gifting a "stranger". From fertility journeys and births to ceremonies honoring death and a funeral/celebration of life.
The knowing on the other side of all these years is that, One Love was never just a "float studio"; it was a breathing ecosystem to celebrate and honor all our transitions, journeys, learning to be in a direct relationship with self/others and cycles of this beautiful and meaningful life.
Enormous love to everyone that brought tenderness, curiosity, openness, wisdom and healing to this space. Deepest heartfelt gratitude for the trust and humble honor to walk with and to be a witness of the intimate reveals of the soul, which has allowed me to discover the same.
One of my favorite float quotes of all time is "Don't linger in the doorway" (JC Lilly) because it is the invitation to be present and bring all of oneself into one's direct experience. As you find and know yourself at the alter of your own new beginnings, remember...Ed Would Go!
